A LITTLE ABOUT US

THE DEPARTMENT

THE MISSION

NC Youth exists to partner with local youth ministries across North Carolina to help students move forward in their walk with Jesus. We are passionate about seeing students transformed by the Gospel, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and equipped to live out their faith boldly in their schools, communities, and future callings.

We believe youth ministry is more than events—it’s about building disciples, strengthening leaders, and creating environments where students can encounter God personally.

At NC Youth, we believe that moments create movement. A single moment in the presence of God can change the trajectory of a student’s life forever. A moment at camp can spark a calling. A moment during worship can lead to healing. A moment in community can remind a student that they are not alone. Because of that, everything we do centers on creating opportunities for students and leaders across North Carolina to encounter Jesus in a real and life-changing way.

Every year, we see God move powerfully through gatherings and experiences across our state. At youth camps, conferences, retreats, and leadership events, students are making decisions for Christ, discovering their purpose, and responding to God’s calling on their lives.

Through events like Youth Camp, Fine Arts Festival, Youth Conference, and CALLED One Day, students are challenged to deepen their faith, develop their gifts, and pursue the plans God has for them. These moments are designed not simply to inspire students for a weekend, but to create lasting spiritual movement that impacts churches, families, and communities throughout North Carolina.

OUR HEART

To create moments where students encounter Jesus.

Where faith becomes real.

Where calling becomes clear.

And where lives are impacted.

STEPHANIE PETERS

Stephanie Peters is a devoted wife to Ashton and mother to Hadassah and Annalea, whose life has been marked by faithful investment in both family and ministry.

After graduating from the University of Arkansas, she has served behind the scenes, faithfully supporting youth ministry at the local, state, and national levels while cultivating a deep personal love for Scripture and theology. Her passion for God’s Word has led her to memorize entire chapters of the Bible, study extensively, and even write personal commentaries simply out of delight for understanding truth.

Stephanie brings a rare combination of thoughtful insight, spiritual depth, and genuine humility to everything she shares. Those who hear her speak are both encouraged and challenged by her practical approach, depth of wisdom, and clarity.
